Integrative Physiotherapy
Integrative physiotherapy is not the traditional physiotherapy you'll see at most clinics. You could say, this is more alternative, in a way. Simply, I often look into and treat things that no one else does! At AcuPhysio, my mission is to help you improve your quality of life by offering fast and effective pain relief, in as little treatment sessions as possible. How do we do that? Through making use of techniques learned through several mentors and practiced through several years that bridge the gaps between Eastern and Western disciplines.
What I Treat
I work with mostly musculoskeletal cases, which includes TMJ, neck and shoulder pain, elbow, wrist and hand pain, back pain, hip, knee, ankle and foot pain, as well as nerve pain like sciatica and other radiculopathies. I am also interested in chronic complex cases like fibromyalgia and rheumatic conditions. You can expect mostly hands-on treatment for your condition. I make use of several effective treatment techniques including manual therapy, myofascial therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue work, and exercise prescription.
My goal is to achieve at least a 50% reduction in pain on the first visit. Frequently, I get even more than that. So if you're in pain and want it gone now, you've come to the right place.

You can call me Alex. I'm a physiotherapist who has been working in the Mid North Coast for 5 years. I am passionate about helping people get out of pain, and I advocate especially for the people who have not gotten the results they hope for from other forms of treatment. I understand how it feels to be lost; when the experts seem to not have the answers, and when you feel like you've been put in the "too hard" basket. Although I admit I'm not perfect, and I don't have ALL the answers, I have years of experience in many cases of being the person that does. No matter how long you've been dealing with pain, I always give it my best shot and do what I can to help you get your life back.
